Price determination
The following services supplied by the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) are government monopoly services:
- water supply services, and
- ancillary and miscellaneous services related to those water services where no alternative supply exists.
The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) determines the maximum prices the SCA can charge for these services.
IPART's current price determination for the SCA applies from July 2009 to July 2012. The SCA sets prices for its water and related services in accordance with the maximum prices determined by IPART. These prices are detailed each year in the SCA's annual report.
