Prioritising Catchment Actions - The Catchment Decision Support System 2009-2010
The Healthy Catchments Strategy 2009-12 is the Sydney Catchment Authority's strategy to manage the drinking water catchments to promote water quality. The strategy is delivered through an annual program of activities - the Healthy Catchments Program.
The SCA has developed a robust, objective and repeatable spatial decision support system, called the Catchment Decision Support System (CDSS), to decide what actions we will take to address water quality issues. It uses a wide range of information and methods, including science, spatial data, expert knowledge, modelling, monitoring and program expertise. This document details the design of the CDSS and presents the 2009 outputs from the system.
