Climate Change Impact Assessment 2010
Climate change in the form of increased climate variability, changes in rainfall distribution, and increased frequency and/or intensity of extreme weather related events - will probably have broad implications for the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA). The SCA completed a comprehensive climate change impact assessment in 2010 which emphasises the complex relations between water quantity, water quality and catchment condition, and highlights the potential impacts of climate change on our operations, infrastructure, business and regulation.
The findings of the assessment are built into our business planning as part of the Corporate Sustainability Strategy.
