Recreational facilities at SCA dams
The majority of SCA dams have well maintained recreational facilities that include BBQs, picnic shelters, children's play equipment, hot water and toilets.
The following list of SCA dams and picnic areas details the amenities and any special activities permitted at each facility.

Burragorang Lookout
(Burragorang Lookout, which provides spectacular views of Lake Burragorang, is in the National Parks and Wildlife Service's Nattai Reserves System.)

(Although Prospect Reservoir forms part of the SCA's assets, the nearby picnic area is owned and operated by Sydney Water.)

Note: Fishing, swimming and non-powered boating are permitted at Tallowa Dam and Bendeela Picnic Area.

Note: Land based fishing is permitted from designated parts of the eastern foreshore of Fitzroy Falls Reservoir. Campbelltown City Sportfishing Club holds a licence to use non-powered craft on Fitzroy Falls Reservoir and welcomes new members. Contact (02) 9843 9449 for details.
Sailing on Fitzroy Falls Reservoir is only available on weekends through the Southern Highlands Sailing Club (season October through to April). Day memberships are available: contact (02) 4861 1793. Other groups wishing to use the reservoir must apply to the SCA head office in Penrith.
