Background
The Woronora Dam access road was built in 1927 and is used bya large number of visitors. The upgrade works will improve road safety by increasing the lane widths of the road.
Once the upgrade work is completed, the access road will provide safer and more reliable access to the facilities at Woronora Dam.
To coincide with the SCA's works, Sydney Water is undertaking a project to renew a significant section of the Helensburgh water main, on the Woronora Dam access road. The work will ensure the Helensburgh and Waterfall water supply system will continue to meet the needs of the local community in the future.
