How to get to Warragamba Dam
Warragamba Dam is located on the Warragamba River about 65 kilometres west of Sydney.
Public transport
Take the train or drive to Penrith station. From Penrith station, catch the Westbus Route 795 bus to Warragamba township. Buses are available seven days a week with limited services on weekends.

Car
Warragamba Dam is an easy drive from Sydney, southern suburbs and Penrith.
Note: There is limited parking at Warragamba Dam Grounds. Some parking is also available in Warragamba Recreational Reserve.
If driving from Sydney:
- Take the Western Motorway (M4)
- Veer left onto the Northern Road
- Travel to Wallacia, and then Silverdale Road and Production Avenue to Warragamba Dam.
If driving from the southern suburbs and Campbelltown:
- Take the Northern Road
- Turn left onto Park Road, Luddenham
- Travel to Wallacia, and then Silverdale Road and Production Avenue to Warragamba Dam.
If driving from Penrith:
- Take Mulgoa Road and travel to Wallacia
- Then take Silverdale Road and Production Avenue to Warragamba Dam.
Travel to Burragorang Lookout
Burragorang Lookout is located near Nattai in Sydney's southwest.
From Camden:
- Take Druitt Lane (which turns into Burragorang Road) to Nattai
- Continue to the lookout.
From Picton:
- Take Barkers Lodge Road to Oakdale
- Then travel west to Nattai.
