Research
Research is vital to help the SCA to provide high quality water to its customers. The SCA has extensive statutory research requirements in the Act and the Operating Licence.
The SCA has developed a research strategy to deliver on these requirements, and establish the SCA as the leading agency for research on the water catchments of the Greater Sydney region.
The priorities of the SCA's research program are to:
- understand the impact of activities in the catchments on water quality
- develop improved management practices.
