Catchment and reservoir conceptual modelling
The SCA's catchment and reservoir conceptual modelling project is a joint program with Patterson Britton and Partners, Cooperative Reserach Centre (CRC) for Catchment Hydrology, and Monash and Melbourne Universities.
It involves the development of a conceptual model which will draw together literature describing the relationship between activities on land and in storages, and the resultant water quality impacts.
The uses of the model area twofold:
- to systematically identify knowledge gaps for further investigation, and
- to form a knowelge repository, packaged into a user-friendly kit for use in stakeholder education.
