Catchment partnerships
The Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) develops and maintains catchment partnerships that support collaborative and sustainable contributions to protecting the catchment.
Ninety per cent of the catchment is privately owned or national park. To reduce water pollution risks the SCA needs to work in collaboration with other agencies, organisations and individuals. The catchment partnership initiative supports the development of our partners’ knowledge, skills, attitudes and ongoing commitment to protect catchment health and water quality. It also helps us to better understand and respond to the needs and concerns of our catchment partners and benefit from their knowledge and experience.
