Learn more about Sustainable Grazing

Who is it for?

The Sustainable Grazing Program provides skills and tools for new landowners to better assess and manage their property and livestock, and for commercial graziers to improve profit. The Program offers free and subsidised training for landowners in the Sydney drinking water catchment. People outside of the catchments can also attend these courses through the Department of Primary Industries.

When and where are the courses and field days?

Courses, field days and workshops are available throughout the year. They are usually held on participants' properties. See our course calendar for upcoming courses in your area. Where there is enough demand, we can also hold special events. Courses can be customised and delivered for Landcare groups, livestock breed societies, farm groups, or other interested groups. Contact us to talk about a package for your group.

How can I find out about courses in my area?

Send us your details if you are interested in the Sustainable Grazing Program and we will email and/or post you information about events coming to your area. If you want to enrol in any of the courses, contact us and tell us which event you are interested in. We will send you an information pack with all the details you need.
